Source:Journal of Applied Crystallography, Volume 29, p.717 (1996)Abstract:Calculations show that, over a large range of cell size, Bragg resolution and X-ray beam width, a single 92 mm diameter micro-channel-plate (MCP) detector outperforms an array of four 256 x 256 mm multiwire proportional chambers. The advantage of the MCP detector are gretest at large cell size, high Bragg resolution and small beam width. |
