Summary: Dr. Wang is a postdoctoral fellow in Breast and Bone Density Group, UCSF. Her focus is on bone density and body composition analysis in Adults and Pediatric. Her training is in cardio-vascular diseases in pediatrics and has extensive experience with risk factors of cardiovascular diseases in childhood. During her masters studies, she performed the study, "Protective Mechanism Of Taurine On Marine Cardiac Muscle Cells Infected By Coxackievirus B3". Dr. Wang was the co- principal investigator of "Investing Of Epidemiology and Prognosis of Arrhythmia in Pediatric" that was supported by the Capital Medical Developing Foundation. She was also the PI of a study Investigation of blood pressure in childhood in the Beijing area with following-up, funded by the Key Science and Technology Program of Beijing (No. H030930030330).
Currently, she is studing the principles of dual x-ray absorptiometry and it use with pediatric populations under Dr. Shepherd. She holds the following positions in the BBDG:
